🧠 Overview
We are expanding our expert annotation and development team that supports the creation of training datasets for cutting-edge artificial intelligence systems, particularly large language models (LLMs). You don’t need previous experience working with AI—just strong engineering expertise.
We’re specifically seeking JavaScript and React developers with 3+ years of hands-on experience to play a key role in training some of the most sophisticated generative AI models in the world. The work involves evaluating AI-generated code, solving real-world coding problems, and helping the models improve their ability to write high-quality frontend code.

💻 What Will You Be Doing?
Your role will involve a variety of engaging and intellectually stimulating tasks, such as:
- Reviewing AI-generated JavaScript/React code and assessing its quality and correctness.
- Writing and debugging functional frontend code with a focus on best practices.
- Designing and implementing React components, custom hooks, and reusable UI logic.
- Creating and running test cases to ensure software robustness and performance.
- Drafting clear technical instructions and offering guidance for model improvement.
- Participating in diverse projects, ranging from evaluating code snippets to simulating app development using chat-based AI interfaces.
This work sits at the intersection of software engineering and AI training, offering a unique chance to shape how next-generation AI systems understand and write frontend code.
💰 Compensation
- Hourly Rate: The average pay is $30/hour, with top-performing contributors earning up to $50+/hour.
- Weekly Payments: All hours are tracked via our platform, and you are paid weekly based on your active contribution.
- Workload Expectations: A minimum of 15 hours per week is encouraged. There is no maximum—you can contribute as much as your availability allows.
🗓️ Contract Duration
- This is an ongoing, long-term freelance contract.
- While you can choose to leave at any time, we encourage a 12-month commitment for consistent contributors.
- We expect to offer work through this contract for at least the next two years.
⏰ Flexible Work Schedule
- Set your own hours and work at your own pace.
- You will be matched with projects based on your performance and availability.
- There are no timesheets—time is tracked via the duration spent completing platform tasks and coding challenges.
- Whether you prefer working full-time or during your off-hours, you’ll have full control over your schedule.
🧪 Interview & Onboarding Process
- Initial Application: Submit your application through our official Ashby form.
- Technical Assessment: If selected, you’ll receive a 35-minute code review task designed to assess your skills. This must be completed within 72 hours.
- Platform Access: You’ll be onboarded to the RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback) platform, where you’ll perform a simulation task similar to real assignments.
- Project Matching: Based on your performance, you’ll be assigned to relevant projects and begin paid work.
We also offer regular Q&A calls and provide a responsive support team to help you settle in.
🧰 Technical Stack Focus
We are currently placing high priority on frontend developers with strong knowledge of:
- JavaScript (ES6+)
- React (including modern hooks and component architecture)
- General modern web development tools, frameworks, and design principles.

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:
- 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering or web development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and modern frontend practices.
- Fluency in English, especially in technical communication.
- A sharp eye for detail, clean code practices, and consistency in code reviews and written feedback.

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will make you a stronger candidate:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
- Familiarity with tools such as Next.js, Vue, or Angular.
- Experience with testing libraries like Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
- Knowledge of state management patterns (Redux, MobX, Context API).
- Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with frontend build tools.
- Contributions to open-source projects or active involvement in the coding community.
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
- An eagerness to learn, explore new technologies, and adapt to rapidly evolving development environments.
- Experience or interest in technical writing or AI model training is a plus.
