About the Role
Are you passionate about web development and travel? Starting in January 2025 or upon agreement, we’re looking for a Digital Content Manager and Website Developer (m/f/d) with strong WordPress experience to enhance our digital presence and elevate the travel experience for our customers. In this role, you will manage and improve our websites, develop custom scripts, and work closely with virtual teams to deliver high-quality content and functionality. Your contribution will be essential to shaping innovative online solutions in the tourism industry.

Your Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of digital projects.
- Maintain, update, and enhance WordPress-based websites.
- Configure, manage, and customize plugins and themes.
- Develop and implement custom features using HTML, PHP, CSS, and MySQL.
- Improve website performance, usability, and visual design.
- Update and review dynamic content and ensure quality standards.
- Collaborate virtually with our teams across various travel destinations.
Your Profile
- Expertise in WordPress: Strong knowledge of managing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins.
- Coding Skills: Experience with frontend and backend development using HTML, PHP, CSS, and MySQL.
- Technical Mindset: Fast learner with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Strong Writing Skills: Excellent attention to detail and language proficiency.
- CMS Knowledge: Prior experience with CMS platforms; experience in the travel industry is a plus.
- Independent Workstyle: Highly self-motivated, structured, and quality-driven.
- Willingness to Learn: You’re curious and always looking to improve.
- Great Communicator: You collaborate effectively within virtual teams.
- Calm Under Pressure: You can manage deadlines and multitask even during busy periods.
- Language Skills: Fluency in written and spoken German is required; additional languages are an asset.
- Flexible Schedule: Willing to work variable hours, including weekends when needed.
- Work Authorization: You must be an EU or Swiss citizen with valid ID or passport.
- Location Flexibility: You’re open to working remotely or in various locations as needed.
